I just heard about another job hunting resource from Mashable.com. It refers to a new niche site call CleanLoop - http://www.cleanloop.com/ – it is new and does not have a large number of job postings yet. But I love the concept of look for your passion, then find a job. Every time I mull over getting a regular job, I would much rather talk about the environment of the company and what it is trying to accomplish rather then a limited job title as to what my first role might be at the company. I am looking larger – what my overall contribution will be to the firm. What can the firm create as a team with my a key contributor. My experiences are wide ranging, but so is my vision. Most hiring managers are not looking for a single cog in the system, but someone who can get what ever job needs to be tackled tomorrow, with skills developed today. I think this may be the right direction to start heading.
Lets hope they do well and keep getting more listings. In the meantime, the blog is worth checking outas it explores some of the issues discussed here.
